Birch ward was transformed on St. Valentine’s Day. Hannah, the ward manager was ‘meeting and greeting’ all that passed through the bright shiny heart shaped balloons at the entrance to Birch

There were banners and cakes (really delicious, thanks Clare)

and posters with a few photos from over the years. There was information on how PDLF started and what it is all about. It was a joyful day. There was a strong feeling of love and friendship amongst the staff and patients. All seemed to be enjoying the day. The patients were all given a little present of chocolates from the staff.
